Leeza is one of our older mares, but that doesn't slow her down much!
She traces numerous times to the broodmare, Merry Walker-TWHBEA#391238. As many TWH enthusiasts already know, Merry Walker, as of this time, is the only broodmare to produce two WGCs for the breed! Those being Go Boy's Shadow, TWHBEA 540615, and Rodgers' Perfection, TWHBEA 551107. Rodgers' Perfection produced GLL's Carbon Copy 620913, who also took home the WGC title.

Leeza was born in Montana in 1984. Some of her ancestors also lived in Montana. We are grateful for the opportunity to acquire her from her previous owners. They had her in New Mexico for many years! We met her when she came to be bred to Blue Gold.in 1997. She produced Shadows Stormy April in 1998. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this mare? Leeza was also rebred to Blue Gold while still with her previous owners. She came to us in 2002. We are so happy that she is part of the herd!

Her 2003 stud colt, Arrows Rojo, put his first foals on the ground in 2006! Rojo has some Tennessee Goldust in his lineage. Liking the way that Leeza crossed with the Blue Gold lines, she was bred to Blue Gold son, Arrows Golden Flash and produced 2004 foal Arrow's Flash O Gold. This palomino is now in Weston, Colorado where he will stand at stud for Horsefeathers Ranch! Contact us if you are interested in breeding to this guy and we can direct you to his owners!
