Arrow's Prom King is a special horse- born the day of the Senior Prom, he made sure to be up and gaiting without incident- that way Maurene did not have to break a nail. He is out of her mare Lazy Y Arrow Blazing Star.
Jazz, the bay mare on the left and daughter of Heritage certified Slush Creeks Jubal S, has a bay colt by her side this year. Already covering the ground!
This foal is out of Eagle's Enduring Freedom. She is a possible double agouti. The only white marking on this filly is a star. We have another buckskin filly with no white on her legs- actually she is a solid buckskin filly! I will try for photos of the filly out of "Big Girl" as soon as possible! This foal is out of Arrow's Dusty Love. This is the first foal for Dusty Love. This young colt does not have any white on his face or his legs. Dusty Love is doing a wonderful job raising her golden boy!
<----Arrow's Misty Blue peeks out, double agouti?

This is a colt mom has nicknamed "wrench". How can you blame her? This one is out of Dutchess.

We, here at Arrow's Walkers, are grateful for our blessings this foaling season. After a really tough winter, we see that our broodmares are doing their job- producing healthy, gaiting, and kind foals. We attribute much of our success, in spite of the winter, to hearty, strong blood- lots of that blood being Western- from herds like the Double Diamond- a 24,000 acre ranch in North Dakota (that I am sure has a tough winter or two in the record books)! Plus, the blood of our own Blue Gold- born in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, where many of his foals hit the ground.

What will the 2008 foal fairy bring?
More buckskins??? Chances are good!

I am more than happy to share info on any of the horses, our ranch, and philosophies.
